Time for Healthy Teeth
Aug. 23, 2023
Here are some hand guides and worksheets to download and explore at home, or in the classroom! All throughout the day, you do things that help your teeth that aren’t just brushing them. Draw the hour and minute hands on each clock to show what time you should do each healthy activity. Indicate at what times each day you brush your teeth before school, have milk with your lunch, wear a mouthguard at practice, eat a healthy snack, eat veggies at dinner, floss your teeth, have nutritious foods like fruit and eggs at breakfast, brush your teeth before bed, and when you visit the dentist after school.
It is important to brush your teeth twice a day, once in the morning and once at night, and floss each night. Answer the discussion questions that have been provided with the worksheet, like what time you brush your teeth in the morning, what time you floss at night, and what time you brush your teeth at night. Keeping track of what time you take care of your teeth can help you maintain your dental care routines. For more ways that you can keep track of your teeth brushing routine, visit this page for a printable chart that allows you to mark how often you brush your teeth as the days pass. For each month, you can mark whether you brushed your teeth in the morning and at night. Print out another sheet when you fill up the first chart.
Using these resources, you can demonstrate your teeth cleaning routine. Document how often you brush your teeth and at what times you do things to improve your oral hygiene that aren’t just brushing your teeth. All day, every day, you do things to keep your mouth clean. Keep this routine consistent and keep your smile healthy!
